 NET stands for National Eligibility Test. If you have completed masters degree with above 55% marks (SC/ST required 50%) then you are applicable for NET exam. For JRF ,The age should be below 28 years .Age relaxation up-to 5 years provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Lectureship , there are no age limit. Notifications for this exams has not yet been announced by UGC. You can fill the forms through the website www.ugcnetonline.in Fees for the NET exams are deposited in State Bank of india Branches. Challans for fees payment will be made available on the UGC Website when notifications is released. Educational Qualifications for the UGC-NET exams is: Post Graduation pass Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation for the General and OBC candidates Minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates Age Limit: Lectureship-No age limit JRF-Maximum age to apply is 28 years Women/SC/ST/OBC candidates can apply till 33 years of age |
