I am a student of class 10th I want to become an IAS officer and I want to take ARTS stream in graduation so please suggest me subject to take that would be easier for me and I want to take ARTS SUBJECT ONLY like : HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, INDIAN CONSTITUTION & POLITICS,ECONOMICS please suggest me the exact subject what to take in ARTS that would be helpful for preparation for IAS officer EXAM I WILL BE THANKFUL TO U REGARDS PARAS KR MISHRA |

There are many post in Civil Services like:- > Indian Administrative Services > Indian Police Services > Indian Foreign Services > Indian Revenue Services > Indian Postal Services Age limit for Civil services exam is 21-30 year. I am a student of class 10th i have completed my 12th standard in science stream and plan to do my degree in science stream.... as i am good at science than arts......????? is it difficult for a science stream student???? and what will be the easiest subjects to take??? will i have to change my steam now??? is arts compulsory??? what are the compulsory subjects??? any good guiding materials on the exam like how to prepare? what is the pattern? books? i require some answers...... |

I am a student of class 10th i am in 10th class . i want to be an ias officer and i have to choose subject in 11th class.i am interested in arts but some people say that maths subject is good for becoming an ias officer but i am afraid from this subject and i do not like maths so please tell me which subject is good for me to be an ias officer .if arts is good for me then tell me that who are the ias officers whose subject is arts. sir please give me the write direction because everybody makes me confused . |

I am a student of class 10th I have a doubt DAT everyone say DAT IAS is a little easy wide humanities subjects I.e. history ,political sci and geography BC Knowledge of these subjects can help u in preliminary exam of cast ...also people around me say DAT cracking IAS from science is hard ??? Is it so. .plZ clear my doubt!!!! |

IAS is commonly known as Indian Administrative Services. To become an IAs officer you need to clear UPSC Civil Services Examination. You can sit for the exam provided you follow the eligibility norms: ** You must have completed your graduation in any stream. ** Final year candidates may also apply. ** Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation given for reserved categories. SC/ST- 5 yrs OBC- 3 yrs PH- 10 yrs Number of attempts: 4 in case of general 7 in case of OBC & unlimited in case of SC/ST till they attain the age of 35 years. There are 3 stages of examination: Preliminary Mains Interview According to latest pattern Preliminary exam is known as CSAT. You have 2 papers in this: General awareness Aptitude test If you fulfill these requirements you can fil the aplication form. Civil services exam is held every year. I am a student of class 10th Hello Friend, IAS is simply known as Indian Administrative officer.IAS is one of the prestigious exam conducted by UPSC every year. Educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline Arts/Science/commerce or equivalent from a recognized University is the minimum qualification required to apply for the exam. To obtain a strong foundation for further studies like graduation, a good option after 10th is studying +2 or 12th standard. But the most important factor is that the students interest in the subject & the purpose for selecting the course. If you wish to join Arts stream to become an IAS officer ,then it is a good decision for your future. So, don't worry the matter is not choose Arts/science stream. For a successful career ,careful planning & following it up a workable plan is needed. All The Best. |
