Re: Complete information about IAS entrance exam? IAS Exam i.e. Indian Administrative Exam IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year. To become IAS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after 10th complete 11th & 12th,then complete Graduation from a recognized university. Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university. Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Number of Attempts: Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. For complete details go to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

Nice to see that you are interested in the IAS Exam. As IAS Exam is generally known as the Civil Services Examination. This Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission. It is the most prestigious and one of the toughest examinations which are conducted every year with over 10 lacs candidates appearing for only 300 posts. The Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services Exam are mentioned below : a) You must have completed your graduated in any discipline from any recognized university. b) Your age must be in between 21-30 years. c) There is also a relaxation of 3 years given to OBC Candidates and of 5 years given to SC/ST Candidates. d) Nationality : Indian. f) Physical Standards :  Now , the Examination is conducted in three stages : a) Preliminary Exam b) MAINS Exam c) Interview Test Pattern Of The Examination :  This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

There is not require any kind of Percentage marks for IAS Exam. But your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. Preliminary Examination consists of Two Papers-
(Paper 1) (200 marks)
