AFCAT wings following Branches Flying Branch Technical Branch Ground Duty Branch Technical Branch Eligibility : Flying Branch : Candidates complete Bachelor Degree in any stream with min of 60% aggregate from a recognized University Candidates age limit between 19 to 23 years Technical Branch : Candidates must be complete Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor Technology from a recognized University Candidates age limit between 18 to 28 years Ground Duty Branches : Candidates complete Bachelor's Degree in any stream with min of 60% aggregate (OR) PG Degree (OR) equivalent diploma in any subject with min of 50% aggregate Candidates age limit between 19 to 27 years Important Dates AFCAT 2013 : Last date for submission of online applications : 08.01.2013 AFCAT Exam Date : 24.02.2013   |

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. This exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force. AFCA is conducted for recruitment of candidates to 3 wings like - Flying Branch Technical Branch Ground Duty Branch If you have completed BE/B.Tech degree then you are applicable for flying branch exam.Your 12th standard subject must be physics and Mathematics .Your age should be in between 19 to 23 years old . If you have completed BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering so you are applicable for Technical Branch exam.Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old . If you have completed in PG Degree/Bachelor Degree in any subjects then you are applicable for Ground Duty Branches .Your age should be in between 19 to 27 years old . According to your age and educational qualification you can choose a career option in Indian Air Force through AFCAT. The advertisement for AFCAT are published generally in the month of June and December every year. The advertisement is published in news papers (Employment News and other leading national dailies) and on the official website of career in Indian Air Force.
