HI FRIEND ## UPSC conducts the IAS(Indian Administrative Services) examination every year ## Minimum educational qualification required to apply for IAS EXAM(civil services exam) is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university ## Age limit to apply for IAS examination is ~>21-30 years for GENERAL category candidates ~>21-33 years for OBC candidates ~>21-35 years for SC/ST candidates ## The number of attempts for IAS examination are ~>4 times for GENERAL ~>7 times for OBC ~>no limit for SC/ST category candidates ## The selection process of IAS examination is ~>written test(preliminary & mains exams) ~>personal interview ## For further details please visit www.upsc.gov.in ** ALL THE BEST ** |

Eligibility Criteria: 1. You must have citizenship of India. 2.You must complete the Graduation from recognized university . about age limitations The candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for this exam. 3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST Candidates. 10 years relaxation for PWD Candidates. 4 attempts maximum required for the General Candidates. 7 attempts for the OBC Candidates. No limit for the SC/ST Candidates. SELECTION PROCESS: Preliminary Examination Main Examination Interview thanks |

IAS means Indian Administrative Services and is basically meant for those aspiring candidates who have strong dedication towards the country. India holds a UPSC examination every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS officers are recruitment. Eligibility Criteria :- A.)Educational Qualification:- The minimum qualification required for appearing the competitive examination is Graduation. Many professionals like Engineers, Doctors, persons with Ph.d qualifications are competing for UPSC. B.)Age Factor:- 1.> For general category :- 21-30 years and can attempt 4 times. 2.>For SC/ST :- 21-35 years ,and there is no limitation . 3.> For the OBC:- 21-33 years and can attempt 7 times. Nationality Candidates should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure Preliminary Examination Mains Examination Interview Test No.of Attempts Maximum 7 attempts for general candidates Maximum 4 attempts for OBC Candidates There is no restriction for SC/ST candidates Paper Pattern for IAS exam :- 1) General-Studies paper carries 150 marks 2) Optional paper carries 150 marks. Instead of one compulsory paper of General Studies and one Optional paper, both the papers shall be compulsory. |

IAS Exam i.e. Indian Administrative Exam Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation with any subject from a recognized university.Maths is not compulsory..... ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IN DETAILS: Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. AGE limit:- Age must be between 21 to 33 years for General category. Age must be 21 to 35 for OBC category. Age must be 21 to 35 for SC/ST category Number of Attempts: Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. IAS exam is also known as CSAT exam this exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year. after cracking the CSAT exam on the basis of merit you can find the post like IAS, IPS , IRS Eligibility Criteria is candidate should be graduate from recognized university in any stream. marks or percentage doesn't matter. IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candide up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years. The selection is of three tire:- CSAT-CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST-PRELIMINARY EXAM comprises of all objective type questions. CIVIL SERVICE MAIN EXAM comprises of subjective type questions fro prescribed syllabus. PERSONAL INTERVIEW As the Civil Service exam is tough and competitive, one should prepare for it at least one year rigorously before sitting for the exam.
