Dear poornima,

Basic eligibility to write PG TRB entrance exam is as follows:
  • Educational= Candidate must have completed B.ed and post graduation and registered it in employment office before exam.
  • Age=Candidate should not be more than 57 years as on 1.07.12.

Since you sister had done both MSc and B.ed. B.ed is most important for this so she is clearly eligible for this exam.

There will be 150 multiple choice objective type questions , You will get three hours to solve them. Questions will be asked from the major subject, Educational psychology and General Knowledge.

Its a good chance as as pay of scale for the PG/PET will be from Rs. 9500 to 34800 with GP Rs. 4800 which is quite good.
Application form will cost you Rs. 50 and exam cost is Rs 500 for general and OBC and Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates.

Best of luck!
