There are 3 Streams which are offered to students once they pass out of their Class 10th board exams. They are : 1. SCIENCE (A) Non Medical (B) Medical 2. COMMERCE 3. ARTS Now out of these 3 streams, I would personally recommend Science stream for you. This is because it is offers you great exposure to other courses as well which you can shift for your graduation i.e If you are a Science student, then you can well look for Commerce and Arts stream graduation but the vice versa is not possible. Science also has a vast area of application in EVERY OTHER FIELD, whereas the Commerce and Arts streams have limited areas of Application. BUT I must also inform you that to study Science stream, you have to put in a lot of hard work and determination otherwise a wasted Science result is useless and least valuable than a good Commerce/Arts result. You have not mentioned your areas of interest. Apart from my personal suggestion, I would also like to state that whatever interests you the maximum, you should go with that as it would have maximum chances that you would flourish in that. Commerce and Arts streams have great opportunities as well if backed up with an MBA Post Graduation degree! Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |

Re: Which subject should I take after passing 10th class? Hi ! I'v opted for non med. in class 11th. And now i think that i can't study non med. Actually i was never interested in science it was my parents who said that i can do sci. as i scored 9.2 CGPA in 10th. My aim was to become a successful sports person but due to some situations i never got a chance to join sports coaching and my parents think that sports do not have a clear cut career.So due to this it was very difficult for me to choose a stream in 11th. Just few days have passed that i'v started with my 11th class studies and i have come to know that i am not interested in sci. Please Please Please help me in solving my problem. My relatives say that sci. is best you u should study sci. because there is so much competition in commerce and every student opt for comm. today. I really need some expert advice as there is still time as i can shift to comm. |

Re: Which subject should I take after passing 10th class? Hello friend! Your confusion is obvious. Everyone is at this crucial stage where they have to decide their career line. I suggest you to analyse your past interest. Just think that in the past which was the subject that attracted you the most or which one did you feel like studying more or with which subject you were never bored. Don't analyse according to your marks or grades. Just focus on your interest I'm sure you'll come out with the best solution. BEST OF LUCK! |

Re: Which subject should I take after passing 10th class? Selections of streams in 11th class depend on the interest of the candidate. If you are interested in science, pursue course based on that. Streams in Arts, Commerce, etc are also suitable. CA is a good option for those who are interested in accounting. If you are interested in technical subjects, pursue diploma courses in ECE, Civil Engineering, etc and graduation thereafter. |
