Hello friend, Railways department so many job posts for the different -2 qualification: Technical department Non-technical department Technical department job post eligiibility: Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degee in engineering with atleast 55% marks from any recognized university age limit: Age must be between the 21 to 30 years Nationality: Indian. For the Technical department job posts you have to write the Civil service entrance exam Under the UPSC For the Non-Technical job post: Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degree / 12th class from any recognized university Age limit: Age must be between the 18 to 30 years Nationality: Indian. In the Non-tedchnical department so many job posts from the 10th class students to the any bachelor degree students can apply but you can get the posts according to your qualifictaion.. For the Non-technical departmnet job posts you have to write the RRB entrance exam under the RRB department. Railways Ticket Collector - 10th passed or ITI from a recognized board or Institute Age should be between 18-28 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines Railways - Assistant Station Master - A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 505 marks and age should be between 21-30 years Railways - ESM - 12th passed with at least 50% marks with physics as a compulsory subjects Loco Pilot - 12th passed from a recognized board and a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university and age should be between 20-30 years All Group D posts - Sweeper, Khalasi, Trackman, Porter, Electrician, Welder - 10th passed or ITI All the best.......... |

Then you might want to check your local newspaper adds. If that donen't work , word of mouth, might be helpful. the only wrong question is the unasked one ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE INDIAN RAILWAY JOBS : 1. Person should have completed the 10th or 12th or any higher education. 2. Minimum 55% aggregate. 3. Age between 18 - 30 years. 4.Must be an indian . |

Re: How can I get a job in Railway? What is the qualification? The qualification for each job post in railways will be different. HSC or diploma holders can apply for junior posts like assistants, railway apprentice, technician, junior engineer, loco pilot etc. For officer posts, a graduate degree is essential. Higher age limit for the same is 30 years. A written exam by RRB will be the selection step for jobs in railways. Log in to RRB website to get details on current job vacancies and apply for apt job posts via online. P.I will be the last step of selection for those who get through written exam. |
