Re: Procedure to become IAS Officer after completion of 10th Class?

Hi Friend...............

There is no chance to become an IAS officer with 10th standard

because the minimum education qualification for IAS is bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognised university

IAS aspirants, first crack the Civil Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission

IAS means Indian Administrative Services and is basically meant for those aspiring candidates who have strong dedication towards the country.

India holds a UPSC examination every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS officers are recruitment.

First you can appear for Civil Examination

Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones,

For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there

A.)Educational Qualification:-

The minimum qualification required for appearing the competitive examination is Graduation. Many professionals like Engineers, Doctors, persons with Ph.d qualifications are competing for UPSC.

B.)Age Factor:-

1.> For general category :-

21-30 years and can attempt 4 times.

2.>For SC/ST :-

21-35 years ,and there is no limitation .

3.> For the OBC:-

21-33 years and can attempt 7 times.

Paper Pattern for IAS exam :-

1) General-Studies paper carries 150 marks

2) Optional paper carries 150 marks.

Instead of one compulsory paper

It's Nice to see that your interested to become a IAS Officer ,, But your qualification is not enough to become a IAS Officer ..

If your aspiring to become a " IAS Officer " then you have to Complete Graduation course from recognized university ..

At present you're an 10th Standard candidate ,,, So I suggest you to First Concentrate on your studies and Complete your graduation course ..

After Completing your Graduation course appear in Civil Service Examination .... then definitely you may become a IAS Officer ..

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service . This Examination is conducted by UPSC for every year . For the IAS examination you have to face three levels namely ,

>>> For IAS examination you should have to satisfy the following requirement like , One should qualified for bachelor degree in any stream from recognized University ....

>>> Applicant age should be 21 to 30 years and the relaxation is given for sc/st candidate for 5 years and obc for 3 years.

>>> Every general candidates are eligible to apply for attempt examination for 4 times and 7 times for obc candidate and there is no Limit for SC/ST candidates ..

>>> Before apply fir IAS Examination you should take special care to choose the options subject for the examination .

>>> The important notification for IAS examination are published in employment news paper { or } Rozgar Samachar/ Employment News .

So i suggest you to apply for bachelor degree,, then your eligible to participate in IAS examination .
