As you say you had operation your Eyes so, which make you Disable for applying for NDA because According to NDA physical Fitness Eye sight of Candidate /must Be Strong.  ELIGIBILITY For NDA:

You have to be physically fit if you wanted to join INDIAN ARMY through OTA or IMA so a medical check-Up is conducts one you are qualified for the OTA or IMA. A full medical test is conducted and then only you are allowed to join OTA or IMA. There are some physical requirements that you can see and they are: PHYSICAL STANDARDS:  The minimum acceptable Height is 157.5 cms. For Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, the minimum acceptable height will reduced by 2 CMS A 10% variation from the average weight given in the table will be considered within normal limits. However, in individuals with heavy bones and broad built as well as individuals with thin built but otherwise health, this may relaxed to some extent on merit. Visual Standards are : 1) The minimum acceptable visual acuity are : Distant Vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse eye 6/18, myopia of not more than minus 3.50 including astigmatism. 2) If you have gone or have the evidence of having undergone Radial Keratotomy to improve the visual acuity, will be permanently rejected; And also if you have undergone Lasik Surgery for correction of refractive error will not be allowed. PHYSICAL FITNESS STANDARD AT IMA Before joining INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY you must be able to do following this number of exercises a) Running 2.4 km in 15 minutes. b) Push Ups-13 Nos. c) Sit Ups-25 Nos. d) Chin Ups-6 Nos. e) Rope Climbing-3-4 Meters. NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this Examination is organized by UPSC Union Public Service Commission for ever twice in a year . Eligibility Criteria :- You should complete 12th in any discipline from recognized university . You should be Citizen of India You should be Unmarried Male candidate Final candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination . You should be Physically as well as mentally fit. Re: Can I join NDA after completion of my Operation for Eyes? sorry dear, You are not eligible for nda exam because your eyesight is week. For nda exam you should be physically and mentally fit. To apply nda exam 12th with pcm Age is 16.5 to 19 Male,unmarried and indian citizen Keeping work hard |

Note :- If your Interested to apply for Navy / Airforce then you should complete 12th standard in science stream . So, as per the eligibility Criteria your not eligible to apply for NDA Examination . |

But some criteria are there if you satisfy then you can eligible for this NDA post:- *Candidate pass 12th science with math, physics,chemistry as a subjects *Age- 16.5 to 19 years age relaxation as government rules........... Examination pattern:-  Application form:- This NDA exam is conducted by UPSC,INDIA.This exam is conducted twice in year One is in April and another is November......
