Re: Can I apply for NDA exam if I am a student of Biology Yes, you can apply for NDA if you are indian citizen and your age is between 16 to 19.5 years. If you are 12 th pass then you can give NDA written Exam doesn't matter from which stream you belong to. |

Re: Can I apply for NDA exam if I am a student of Biology If you have study Biology in your 12th examination then you are eligible to apply for Army Wings of NDA. For Naval and Air Force Wings, You have to complete your 12th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects. The eligibility criteria required for the NDA (National Defence Academy)examination are:-

But you will be only considered for Indian Army through NDA examination. For Indian Air Force and Indian Navy one must study maths in 10+2. So if your aim to join Indian Army then no problem you can apply for NDA examination. Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years and you must be unmarried Indian male. Examination Pattern:  Physical Criteria:  After clearing NDA examination you will join NDA and complete your Graduation . After Graduation you have to complete training and then you will become an Officer in Indian Army. For more information visit http://www.upsc.gov.in |

So you must done 12th board science in maths.if you done 12th board in biology and maths. ELIGIBILITY:1.you should be an Indian 2.you must be between 16.5 to 19 years of age. 3.you should be a 12th passed or 12th appearing candidate in science stream or commerce stream from a recognized board. 4.you should be an unmarried male. I am happy to inform you that you are eligible fpr N.D.A exam after passing 12th with Biology stream. NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice. NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. The candidate having studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th level can apply for all the wings of NDA but the candidate having without the above subjects can only be eligible to apply for Indian Army wing of NDA. Re: Can I apply for NDA exam if I am a student of Biology See, to be eligible for the NDA exam one has to satisfy the following criterion- 1.you should be an Indian 2.you must be between 16.5 to 19 years of age. 3.you should be a 12th passed or 12th appearing candidate in science stream or commerce stream from a recognized board. 4.you should be an unmarried male. so as you are a student of biology stream , you cannot appear for the exam. Maths is a compulsory subject for NDA exam. but if you have studied maths and biology both , then there is no problem. you can appear for the exam in this case. good luck |
