There is a contradiction in your Question, as in one place you have written 15,000 rank and in other 1,50,000 rank. Ok, If you have got 15,000 rank then you have a good chance of getting some NITs at your AIR (OP category). Besides this there are various good colleges you can apply for (But I suggest to try DTU ,NSIT, NITs , and other top colleges only) DTU and NSIT will not be available as the cut offs are going high. And if you have 1,50,000 rank, then dear, I'm sorry, but at this rank you can't expect any good college. You may get an average college that too in State category, if preferably you are from Haryana. Moreover, if you are from Reserved Category, then at both these ranks you have high chances of getting a good college. At 15 K rank, if from reserved category then you may get any NIT, and even DTU and NSIT in whichever branch you want. At 1.5 lakh rank, if you are from reserved category, then you may get some NITs. Hi AIEEE - All India Engineering Entrance Examination This is conducted by the CBSE (Central Board for Secondary Education) every year in the month of April to test and select candidates for the B.Tech/B.E Programs in colleges all over India. Now coming to your question, its not clear whether you are expecting rank within 15000 or 150000 ? You have written contradictory things in your question. Still I must tell you that the NIT's are the National Institutes of Technology and they are amongst the top most technical institutions in our country. Now talking about your chances of getting a seat in any of the NIT's, they are bleak. This is because in the AIEEE exam the NITs are the highest demanded. So they are filled within ranks 5000-8000 AIR. I do not see much chances of you getting seats in the NIT's and plus you have not mentioned your quota either. So you need to look for other good colleges. If you want to know about the top colleges under the AIEEE, Please Click Here You can expect to get a seat in some IIIT's or other government funded institutions but if you get 150000 rank, then I am sorry to say you will not find any good seat in any good college Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |
