With securing 49.33% in 12th standard, you are not eligible to apply for Govt. Bank like SBI which conducts bank Clerical exam.

To be eligible to apply for SBI Clerical exam the candidate must be an Indian Citizen having completed 12th with 60% marks from a recognised Board within the age of 18 to 28 years of age.

So for applying for SBI clerical exam you should complete Graduation degree in any stream.

With the present marks in 12th standard you are also not eligible to apply for bank clerical exam conducted by IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for which the candidate should secure at least 50% marks but you camn apply for the same after completion of your Graduation.

The clerical exam is through written exam followed by personal interview.

The written exam is based on the objective type questions on the subjects like:-

-Reasoning
-English Language
-Numerical Ability
-General awareness & special reference to Banking Industry
-Computer knowledge.

Re: Can I give government bank exam after passing 12th with 49.33%?

Since you have just completed your class 12 exam therefore not much options will be available as most of the bank exam requires students to be a graduate minimum. Still you can give the clerical exam as it requires you to be just a 12 pass out.

To sit for this exam you need to ensure minimum 50% of marks at 10+2 level and your age should be between the age bracket of 18-28 years. There is age relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST category and upto 3 years for OBC category.

Since you do not have the above marks mentioned therefore it is not possible for you to sit for the clerk exam even unfortunately.

I would recommend you to give your class 12 exam once again not just because you are not eligible to give this exam but later when you will go for looking jobs in various other sectors as well you will see that the minimum marks a student have to secure is 50% which in some cases rises upto 60-65% as well. Most of the companies are very strict about these criteria so they are not going to show any mercy.

So think wisely and take your decisions accordingly. All the best dear

You have completed 12th standard with commerce stream with 49.33% , You want to go government Bank Exam .There are is only one Government bank to recruit 12th standard persons .

SBI , State Bank Of India recruit the candidate for clerical post for 12th standard candidate .

If you have completed 10+2 with any stream from recognized board with above 60% marks then you are applicable for SBI CLERK Exam.

OR

Those candidate have completed Graduation from recognized university are applicable for SBI CLERK Exam.

With 49.33% , you are not eligible for SBI Clerk Exam.Even you are not applicable for IBPS Exam .

Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Process of SBI CLERK exam-1)Written Test and 2)Personal Interview .

Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk Exam:-

Total Marks= 250
Total Time= 150 min

Negative marking is there. For one wrong answer deduct .33 marks.

For this year SBI CLERK Exam date is already over so you can try for Next year. Now you can prepare well those papers.
