Yes,you can get jobs in Indian Railway after passing your 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.There are two exams in which you can apply for getting jobs in Indian Railways.These two exams are :-
  • RRB Railway Ticket Collector(TC).
  • SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice) Exam.
Eligibility requirements for RRB Railway Ticket Collector (TC) :
  • To apply for this exam your minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 pass out in nay discipline from recognized board/university in any discipline.
  • Your minimum age to apply for this exam is 18 years and your age should not be above 28 years.
  • Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 50%.
Exam Pattern for RRB TC :-
  • This exam will include 100 objective type questions.
  • Total marks for this exam will be 100.
  • Total duration for this exam will be 2 hours.
Written Exam Syllabus for TC :-
  • Logical Reasoning.
  • English Grammar.
  • Numerical ability.
  • General Knowledge.
Eligibility requirements for SCRA Exam :
  • To apply for this exam your minimum educational qualification should be pass out in 10+2 with science stream from recognized board/university.
  • Your subject combination in science stream should be Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Your compulsory subject in 10+2 should be English.
  • Your minimum age should be 17 years and your age should not be above 21 years.
Exam Pattern for SCRA :-
  • Written exam will include questions from three separate papers.
  • Each paper will be of 2 hours.
  • Each paper will be of 200 Marks.
  • All questions of Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics will be from 10+2 level.
  • All questions will be objective type.
Written Exam Syllabus for SCRA :-
  • Paper I(General ability test) - English,General Knowledge and Reasoning.
  • Paper II(Physical Science) - Physics and Chemistry.
  • Paper III - Mathematics.

12th passed candidates can apply for the position of TTR, Loco Pilot, etc. Details on available job positions will be available in the official web site of RRB. Job notification contains details on eligibility requirements and admission procedure. Recruitment test for railway jobs are conducted by RRB. Information on application process will be available in the web portal itself.
