Re: Syllabus for Bank of Baroda Clerk and PO exam?

For most of the bank exams including the Bank of Baroda, the pattern is as follows
-Written test
-Personal Interview

Some banks will also conduct group discussion as a part of selection process like ICICI.

The syllabus and examination pattern for the written exam is as follows
-Reasoning
-Quantitative aptitude
-General English
-General awareness
-Computer knowledge

One should qualify in all of the sections in order to qualify for the written test.

There will also be negative marking and it is mostly 1/4th.

For reasoning and aptitude R.S.Agarwal are the good books to prepare
For general awareness go through last 6 months
-national affairs
-international affairs
-sports
-awards
from news papers and business magazines.

Re: Syllabus for Bank of Baroda Clerk and PO exam?

The areas of preparation for both the exams are same. The only difference is in the level of questions asked. For the clerical exam you need have passed 12th standard and graduation for the PO exam. You must be well aware in General Awareness area. Also prepare well in the quantitative and verbal ability areas.

Re: Syllabus for Bank of Baroda Clerk and PO exam?

Hi,

As far as i know the test pattern for PO in written test comprising objective test on
(i) reasoning
(ii) quantitative aptitude
(iii) general socio economic and banking awareness
(iv) English language
(v) marketing aptitude

there is no specific syllabus for that but they can be found in any general book
they only check your basic knowledge about this subjects.

You can refer books like Quantitative Aptitude by R.S. Agrawal for general topics.
