Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for BANK PO exam. They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time. But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years. BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview. For written test you must be prepare for mathematics and general knowledge.Also you must have basic knowledge computer field. Every bank set their own criteria .So it is not perfect criteria all BANK PO exam. A new restriction has been imposed on the number of attempts for the candidates. For general number of attempts is 4, for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST. Thanks |

Re: What is the age limit for Bank PO exam? Hi friend, Each bank has its own age limit for appearing in their Bank's PO exam. But most of the banks generally have 21 to 30yrs as age limit and graduation as the education qualification required for appearing in their PO exam. |

Bank PO requires a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with minimum of 60%(Relaxation in percentage is offered by various banks for the candiates of reserved category) Age limit criteria for Bank PO (probationary officer) is: 1. A candidate applying for this post should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age. 2. There is a age relaxation given to OBC category people. This relaxation is for 3 years for the upper limit of age. 3. In case of ST/SC /Ex – Servicemen, this relaxation is for 5 years. 4. 10 years of relaxation in age criteria is given to VH/OH (GN) 5. 13 years for VH/OH (OBC) and 6. 15 years for VH/OH (SC/ST). |

Here i am providing the eligibility criteria for bank PO exams. Age criteria ; -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years -Relaxation is there for the candidates of OBC and SC/ST in upper age limit Academic qualification ; --One should have secured a minimum of 55% in graduation level and 60% in 10+2. -There is relaxation in age in the percentage of marks for SC/ST students. For PO You should have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University to be eligible for this course. you must be computer literate to be eligible for this course. minimum age 21 years and maximum 30 years of age for general/obc. There are relaxation for sc/st/sst and other. Selection Criteria: Examination will be held in two terms. First term(1st objective paper,discriptive paper). Second term-interview. Objective examination will consist of: i.Reasoning Ability Test ii.Quantitative Aptitude iii.General Awareness/Computer Knowledge iv.English Language In discriptive paper you will have to give the answers of 5 different questions on different topic(based on social economic and some social issues). If you will qualify then you call for interview. |

Age relaxation is also there...... for PH candidates, there is 10 years relaxation. for SC/ST/ex-service man, there is 5 years relaxation. for OBC, there is 3 years relaxation. Educational qualification: one must be graduate in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks....though the cut offs marks may vary from bank to bank. The cut off mark also vary for candidates of general and OBC category and candidates of SC/ST/PH category. |

In the private sector the age limit varies. For some the maximum age limit is 28 years while for some it is 30 years. There is relaxation for those who belong to the ST/ SC. |
