Here is the eligibility for Different Branch of AFCAT.... Flying Branch:- A candidate must have completed their Graduation that is B/Tech in Aeronautical Branch from Recognized Universities are eligible for it... Age should be between 19 to 23 years... Technical Branch:- A candidate must have completed their Graduation in Engineering field that is B.E/B.Tech are eligible for it... Age of candidate should be between 18 to 28 years..... Ground Duty: A candidate who have completed at least their Graduation in any field can apply for it... Age should be between 18 to 28 years... Physical Standards: (Women) – 152 cms Minimum Height, (Men) – 157.5 cms with correlated weight. Chest expansion minimum 5 Cms He should be able to read 6/6 in distant vision chart with each eye. The acronym for AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. Yes, you can apply for AFCAT examination. AFCAT examination is conducted for three wings:- * Ground Duty Branch. * Flying Branch. * Technical Branch. The eligibility criteria required for the AFCAT examination are prescribed as below:- * Educational Qualification:- 1. Completion of graduation from any recognised college or university for Ground Duty Branch. 2. Completion of B.Tech and Maths and Physics are the main subjects in class 12th for Flying Branch. 3. Completion of B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering stream from any approved university for Technical Branch. * Age limit:- 1. 19-27 yrs for Ground Duty Branch. 2. 19-23 yrs for Flying Branch. 3. 18-28 yrs for Technical Branch. * Nationality:- Indian. AFCAT examination syllabus is mentioned as below:- * Quantitative Aptitude. * Verbal Ability. * Reasoning. * General Awareness. * Numerical Ability. Air Force Common Admission Test. AFCAT is an Entrance test conducted for Selection of candidates in defence sector various branch of Indian Air force(Flying, ground, Technical). Eligibility criteria for AFCAT Exam: Flying Branch:- Educational Qualification:- Completed B-Tech degree and 12th standard subject are mathematics and physics. Age - 19 to 23 years old . Technical Branch:- Educational Qualification:- Passed B-Tech in Aeronautical Engineering Age - 18 to 28 years old . Ground Duty Branches:- Educational Qualification:-Completed graduation degree . Age - 19 to 27 years old . Yes , You are applicable for AFCAT Exam . AFCAT Exam consists of 100 questions of duration 2 hours and each question carry 3 marks. Total no of AFCAT Exam is 300 marks . In AFCAT Question will be based on following Topics. Verbal ability. Numerical ability. Reasoning. General awareness. Aptitude. Physical Standards: Height & Weight: Minimum height: 162.5 cm with correlated weight and leg length in the range of 90 cm (Min) and 120 cm (Max). Vision: without Glasses: 6/6, 6/9. Myopia-Nil. Re: Can I apply for AFCAT after completing graduation in Biotech(Hons) YES, you can apply for the AFCAT exams Last date to apply for the AFCAT exam is 8th January 2013 AFCAT exam is on 24th February 2013 ELIGIBILTY FOR THE AFCAT EXAMS: FLYING BRANCH- Education- Graduates in any stream with Minimum 60% marks and should have studies the subjects Physics and Maths in class 12th or BE/BTECH Pass with minimum 60% marks Age- between 19 to 23 years (candidates born between 2nd July 1991 to 1st January 1995 can apply) Minimum Height- 162.5 cms Minimum Leg Length - 99 cms Maximum Leg Length - 120 cms GROUND DUTY Branch; Education- Graduates in any stream with Minimum 60% marks Age- Between 19 to 23 years (candidates born between 2nd July 1990 to 1st July 1993 can apply) Minimum Height- 152 cms |
