Candidate seeking for admission in BIT Mesra, in an undergraduate program, must have passed the +2 level of exam from a recognized board. The Institutes offers many undergraduate programs and the qualifying marks required for admission in undergraduate program may vary. However, for most of the program, candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% marks beside passing in all the subjects in which they have appeared in +2 level. There are concession of qualifying marks for the reserved candidates. Admission are based on entrance tests such as AIEEE. The maximum age limit for admission to undergraduate programmes is 21 years [26 years for SC/ST candidates].
