You can do LLB after 12th or BBA. This choice is completely yours. However its better to do LLB after 12th instead of graduation. After 12th you can complete LLB in 5 years while if you go for graduation then it would take 6 years.

Let me explain this to you. After 12th you can apply for integrated LLB course known as BA LLB, BBA LLB etc. This course includes subjects of bachelor course as well LLB. The duration of the course is 5 years.

But in the second option, you will first spend 3 years doing BBA and then another 3 years doing LLB. Therefore if you want to save one year, choose the first option. I should assure you that on merits, both degrees have same value.

These days very few universities offer LLB 3 years course. Most of them have adpoted 5 years LLB course. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is also conducted for the 5 years LLB. While for 3 years, some universities conduct their own entrance exam while some offer admission on merit.

BA LLB Eligibility

1. You will first need to complete 12th.

2. Ensure at least 45 percent marks in it.

3. SC/ST will have to ensure 40 percent marks.

4. Your age should not exceed 20 years.

5. SC/ST can take admission till 22 years.

6. Appear for the Common Law Admission Test if meet the criteria above.

LLB Eligibility

1. You will have to graduate from any recognized college.

2. Graduation should be completed with 45 percent or above marks.

3. SC/ST will have to complete with minimum of 40 percent marks.

4. Your age should not exceed 30 years.

5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST.

Dear Aspirant,

Minimum Eligibility: 10 + 2

Age: Max 30 years

LL.B is a UnderGraduation Degree course. B.A is already a Undergraduation Course.

So you need to be a little clarity on your question.

IF even than you want to the LL.B after the B.A.

Then you need to write a entrance exam called CLAT(Common LAw Admission Test).

This will help you get seat in the LL.B (UG).

Duration of Course:

3 years in Normal College.
5 years in few autonomous Colleges.

Masters in Law(LL.M) is only for 2 years

Hope this info helps you.

All the best for your future endeavor's.

You can do LL.B. after 12th as well as after BBA according to your wish.

There are two types of Bachelor of Law Degree(LL.B.)

Five years Integrated Law Degree:-

Can be pursed after 12th with at least 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 20 years.

Three year Law Degree:-

Can be pursed after completion of Graduation with at least 40% marks in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 30 years.

Some reputed Institutions conduct entrance exam like CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) for admission to LL.B. Courses.
