Yes, you are eligible to apply IPS or IAS exam after completing B.Sc IT.

Because for apply IPS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

IPS or IAS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam in every year.

Eligibility criteria :-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

SC/ST category candidates age relaxation 5 years.

And OBC category candidates 3 years age relaxation.

Physical requirement for IPS exam:-

Height: –

Male 165 cm Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm

Female 150 cm Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm

Chest :–

Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.

Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

Hello sir

yes you are eligible to apply for IAS and IPS exams .because as per qualification concern bachelor degree in any stream with recognize board is great enough to apply for this .and as you mentioned you have completed your BSC-IT

IPS - indian police service

IAS- indian administrative service

UPSC conducts the entrance exams once in a year to recruits in these services .

After getting Degree program every one is eligible for IPS or IAS.
you just need to select different subjects according to your interest.

Yes,you are eligible for IPS and IAS exam after completing B.Sc.in IT because this is a graduation degree and the eligibility to appear for such exam is graduation in any stream.

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) is a central government body that conducts exam for civil services,engineering services,defense services and many more every year in India.


UPSC conducts civil services exam for various posts like IAS,IPS,IRS,IFS,etc.The qualification required to apply for these posts is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam.

Some other eligibility criteria which has to be followed for applying in such exams are as under:-
-The candidate must be of Indian nationality with valid residence proof.
-The candidate age limit should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general category.However, there is age relaxation for OBC by 3 years and for SC/ST, it is 5 years.
-The selection process includes Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Personality Interview.
-The no. of attempts for the exam is four for general category under the creamy layer,seven times for OBC and no limits for SC/ST candidates.

Since, You have Completed your B.Sc in the IT then you can definitely eligible for IAS/IPS.....!!!

IAS stands for the Indian Administrative Service and IPS stands for the Indian Police Service Both the exam are conducted by Union Public Service Commission under the Civil Service Examination every year......

For applying both the post candidate must be physically as well as Mentally fit. this is most toughest exam so, you have to prepare very well for this exam and very deeply....

Hai,

The acronym for IPS is Indian Police Service.

IPS exam conducted by the UPSC once in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Final year graduation students are also eligible.

No need of percentage restrictions to appear this exam.

You should be an Indian origin.


Age criteria and Relaxation details:-

The candidates age should be in between 21 years to 30 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates,

10 years age relaxation for PWD candidates.

Selection procedure:-

Preliminary examination,

Eligibilty to apply for the UPSC Civil Services exams is:
