First of all discussing your query :

The age limit for the candidates of all category to be eligible for the National defense academy examination is :

Minimum age limit :16.5 years

Maximum age limit:19 years.

Now coming to all other criteria,

Academic requirement :

>>You must be 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board.

Marital Status:

>>Only unmarried male Indian can apply for the exam.

Examination pattern:

It has two stages :

1.Written test

2.Service Selection Board.

The important dates for the NDA I and NDA II are already over .

NDA stands for National Defence Service.

It is conducted by UPSC exam twice a year.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam :

Education Qualification:

For Indian Army : The candidate must pass his 12th class with any stream from any recognized board.

For Indian Air Force and Indian Navy : The candidate must pass his 12th class with science stream from any recognized board.

Age Limit :

The age of candidate must be from 16.5 to 19 years.

Nationality:

The candidate must be Indian.

Marital Criteria:

The candidate must be unmarried.

Sex:

The candidate must be male.

The selection procedure consists of following steps:

>>Written Exam
>>SSB Interview
>>Medical Test

Hi,

NDA exam helps an Intermediate pass candidate to join Indian defence.

This exam is conducted by Union Public service Commission.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Through NDA one can join Indian Army / Navy and Air Force.

As asked by you, the eligibility criteria required for NDA exam are -

You should be 12th pass ( Physics and Maths for Navy and air force ).

Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

You should be a male candidate

You should be unmarried.


The NDA exam is conducted twice a year.

There are three stages to qualify NDA exam—

Written Exam

SSB iNterview

Physical Examination

So, you just need to complete intermediate for this exam.

The maximum age required for NDA is 19 years. Lower age limit in the case is 16 ½ years. No age relaxation is offered for reserved category candidates. UPSC conducts NDA exam. Unmarried male candidates are only eligible.
