Re: What is the date to apply for SLET exam? Unfortunately the answer to your question is very difficult. Simply because you did not mentioned your state. The SLET exam which is known as State Eligibility Test for Lectureship is conducted in each state separately. Similar to National Eligibility Test, SLET is conducted for college lectureship and PhD. The minimum qualification is post graduation degree to appear for the exam. Now as I mentioned earlier that this exam is conducted by each state. Therefore the exam dates and university where the exam is conducted is different. Unless you mention anything about the state for which you want to appear in the exam, I am afraid your question can not be answered. I can tell you about National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice a year. First time in June and second time in December. You can not appear for NET exam this year. You will have to wait till next year. Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. Age Criteria. 1. The age limit for JRF is 28 years. 2. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. 3. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship. Education 1. Minimum criteria is post graduation degree from a UGC recognized university. 2. At least 55 percent marks in post graduation. 3. Final year students can also apply. |
