DEAR FRIENDS, you can get the all the study materials on the different websites. such as www.indiastudychannel.com and can also get it from the some books, upkar publication is the best publication for the bank p.o study materials. the exam is of the objective type.and it contains the mathematical as well as English reasoning with general knowledge. |

Hello, You find details of registration at: http://registration.sifyitest.com/posbi/howtoapply.html SBI PO exam pattern/format: Selection process from Probationary Officers (PO) in the SBI bank consist of two phases: Phase-1: Written test (Objective & Descriptive) Phase-2: Group Discussion & Interview. Although it has not been given in the notification, SBI usually calls three times the number of vacancies for Phase-2, which in the current case should be around 13500. Papers of SBI PO exam: SBI written exam consist of a 200 marks (2-hour duration) objective test and a 50 marks (1-hour duration) descriptive test. Papers in the Objective test is as follows: English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.) General Awareness, Marketing & Computers Data Analysis & Interpretation Reasoning (High Level) The descriptive test consists of following paper: English Language (Comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay). SBI PO exam sample papers/previous years papers: It is a good idea initially to make your preparation based on the Bank PO sample papers available in the internet, just to find the standard of questions. Later on, you may go for in-depth studies from books. To prepare for bank PO exams the following books & magazines are useful: Quantitative maths - R.S.Agarwal Verbal & non verbal reasoning - R.S.Agarwal GK - Pratiyogita Darpan, Manorma Year Book. Word Power - Norman Lewis You can also refer the books of upkar prakashan & unique publication. When there are PO vacancies in banks they give advertisements for recruitment of PO in employment news & on their websites. Please read the employment news daily for current openings |
