Yes, you are eligible to pursue M.Sc in Biotechnology.

Eligibility criteria for M.Sc in Biotechnology:

->You have to be a graduate in science related field from any recognized university.
->You should have a minimum of 50% marks.
->Some colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission to this course. You have to appear and qualify in this exam to seek admission to this course.

I have Zoology and Chemistry in my final year of graduation. Can I apply foe M.Sc. (Biotechnology)? OR the Botany is compulsory in third year to get admission in M.Sc. BIOTECHNOLOGY? Please help me at soonest.

im a bsc zoology student in PSG arts and science college. am ieligible to do msc or ms programme in bio technology in iit..
do iit_madras provide msc or ms program .. am i eligible for that

No you are wrong that mathematics will be asked during entrance exam for taking admission in M.sc Biotechnology course.To appear in IIT JAM and AIIMS Entrance exam for taking admission in M.sc Biotechnology course you will required to meet these eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :
  • You should have a bachelor degree of at least 3 years from recognized university.
  • Your Honors paper in Graduation should be Chemistry/Biology.
  • Medium of study in Graduation level should be English.
  • Candidates who have a B.Tech/B.E degree in Biotechnology will also be eligible to apply for this entrance tests.
Marks required :
  • Candidates who belong from the General Category or Backward Category should have a minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor degree course.
  • Candidates who belong from the SC/ST category should have a minimum of 50% marks in bachelor degree course.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus :
  • This entrance exam will include 50 questions from Chemistry & Biology sections.
  • Total marks for this entrance test will be 100.
  • Total time duration for this entrance exam will be 2 hours.
  • All questions will be objective type.
Syllabus for Entrance exam :
  • Biochemistry.
  • Microbiology.
  • Genetics and Molecular Biology.
  • Chemistry.

Yeah , you are eligible to appear for MSc Biotechnology. As you mention that , you are graduated from BSc with chemistry , botony and zoology.You are eligible to write the entrance exam which is held by iits, while you are applying for the exam you should mention your specifications.

Hi,

you can do m.sc with biotechnology.

As you mention that you have done b.sc with chem,, zoo and botany.

You have iit entrance exam or aiims.

You have to mention your specify subject during the filling of appication for m.sc.

Keeping work hard.

I hope you will be next m.sc biotechnology student.
