M.Com stands for Master of Commerce and is an master degree program of two year duration. Now, in order to be eligible for the program (M.Com), you will need to complete bachelors degree program in commerce or related fields. There are number of universities offering both undergraduate (B.Com) as well as post graduate (M.Com) programs in commerce and the eligibility criteria for each of the courses will vary depending upon the university.
As per the education system of India as well as other countries, it is not possible to pursue a master degree program just after qualifying higher secondary level of examination. To be considered eligible for master degree course, candidate must be a graduate in the relevant field.
