CLAT is stands for Common Law Admission Test .This exam is conducted for admission for LLB & LLM course .

If you have completed 12th standard from any stream with above 50% marks then you are eligible to attend in CLAT exam for admission in Under graduate course .

If you want to apply for Post graduate course , then you must have BL or LLB degree with above 55% marks .

The candidate age should not be more than 20 Years for under graduate course .

CLAT Exam Details:-

LLB Course Eligibility:-

You need to pass higher secondary exam or its equivalent from a recognized board.
At 10+2 level 50% of marks is required. If you are a reserved category candidate then 45% of marks is required.
Final year students can also apply for this examination.
Upper age limit for General and OBC category is 20 years and for SC/ST and PWD candidate is 22 years.

LLM Eligibility Criteria:-

You should have a LL.B/B.L degree or an equivalent degree with 55% marks in aggregate.
SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates needs to get 50% of marks from a recognized university.
You should have passed the qualifying examination at the time of your admission to submit original documents.

LLB Exam Pattern:-

-English including Comprehension
-General Knowledge/ Current Affairs
-Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability)
-Legal Aptitude
-Logical Reasoning

LLM Exam Pattern:-

Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions (Covering Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence) and Multiple-choice Questions (Covering all compulsory law subjects prescribed by the BCI for the Under-Graduate Course except Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence).
