Microbiology is the study of the micro -organisms in which students study the behaviour of micro-organism so as to control and utilize them for benefit of living beings. There are several opportunities for Microbiologist as they can work in Hospital laboratories and Research Centers Research and laboratories of Food and Beverages Industries Pharmaceutical Companies Agriculture related industries or sectors Biotechnology Related Industries Environment and Public health sector Waste management and environment sector also recruit the Microbiologist Teaching is also a option after clearing the NET examination you can teach in college. |
