Re: Can I apply for TET Exam having not completed B.Ed?

Sorry if you haven't completed B.Ed then you are not eligible to apply for TET.

So complete your B.Ed with at least 50% marks and then you will be eligible for TET.

For SC/ST/PWD only 45% marks is required for TET.

TET is Teachers Eligibility Test and nowadays you have to qualify this exam to become a teacher in Government school.

TET is conducted on state level and also on the All Indian Level.

The All Indian Level is known as CTET and it is conducted by CBSE for recruiting teachers in all the Central Government schools which are CBSE affiliated.

This examination will have objective type questions related to teaching aptitude and your academic subjects in the the Graduation.

Hence be prepared for the examination because competition is very tough nowadays and you have to be very well prepared for the exam then only you will qualify it.

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test .Now to become a teacher in schools in Govt. , privet, unaided and aided categories ,candidate have to qualify the TET exam in state level .

Eligibility criteria for TET exam -
B.Ed course is must .Validity of B.Ed certificate will be decided by the State Government /UT/center .The certificates can't be more than 7 years old .There is no age limit for the exam .

So that means with out completing B.Ed ,you can't apply for the exam .

Thank you

Dear friend,

TET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of schools.

You must have a valid degree for B.Ed course.

The certificate can not be more than 7 years old.

There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below.

1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers.

Age:- There is no upper age limit to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

You have not completed your B.Ed degree so you are not eligible for TET exam

Thanks
