Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 10th class? NDA - National Defence Academy You can join Indian army after completing 12th science only. You must write NDA exam and pass it. •> There are 3 course in NDA 1. Naval training team 2. Air force training team 3. Army training team ♦♦ Educational Qualification :- Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution There is no percentage required for this examination ♦♦ Age Limit : Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years There is no age relaxation for this examination ♦♦ Nationality : A candidate must be either: i. A citizen of India, or ii. A subject of Nepal, or iii. A subject of Bhutan, or iv. A Tibetan refuge ♦♦ Marital Status : Candidate should be a citizen of India ♦♦ Syllabus :- 1. Physics 2. Chemistry 3. Mathematics (NCERT Level) ♦♦ Selection Procedure Test :- Written exam general knowledge physical test ♦♦ Physical standards for NDA :- • You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease • The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air-Force). • Your chest should be well developed, Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms. ♦♦ Eye Sight Eligibility :- • You should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses. • Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. ♦♦ Vision standard for Naval candidates :- • Uncorrected without glass : 6/9 • Corrected with glass : 6/6 • Limits of Myopia : -0.75 • Limits of Hypermetropia : +1.5 • Binocular vision : III •) Those who habitually wear spectacles are not eligible for Air Force, Minimum distant vision 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia, Color vision CP-I Hypermetropia : + 2.0 D Sph • Manifest Myopia : Nil • Limits of colour perception : I > Hope this helps ! |

Hello friend, If you want work in Indian airforce first you should join NDA(Natioal Defence Academy) by writing nda exam conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). But you can write this only after passing 12th with physics and mathematics. NDA entrance exam is conducted twice a year in all major Indian cities. Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 10th class? hi, Sorry to say but after 10th you can not apply for the air force exam and can not be a pilot. To go in air force you will have to appear in NDA exam. For NDA exam you should have to complete minimum 12th eligibility. To apply for NDA exam you should be in age of 16.5 years. You should be the citizen of India. You should be mentally and physically fit Only male candidates can apply for NDA exam. You must choose math and physics subject to join the air force. So friend first of all complete your intermediate to apply for NDA exam thank you.............. |

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidate in order to make entry into Air Force is 12th class. Soon after the completion of 12th class, the candidate have have to crack the following selection procedure to make entry into Air Force. NDA written Exam Interview Medical Test NDA Exam will be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. One can join the following defence services by cracking this exam. Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing Here is the required eligibility criteria for the candidates to apply for this exam. One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream in order to be eligible to apply for Army wing But in order to be eligible to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, you should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects. The required age criteria for the candidates will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years. One should be an unmarried male candidate in order to apply for this exam. So, I suggest you to opt for the stream in 12th class in accordance with the defence wing in which you want to get the job. Start preparing for the Entrance Exam (NDA Exam) along with your academics. Once you complete this exam, apply for the exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

And study intermediate for two years.After completion of 12th then your are eligible to write NDA exam.If you are qualified in NDA exam then can join in Indian Airforce. Eligibility to appear in NDA:- 1.Candidate shoudl be unmarried and male. 2.Age of the candidate should be in between 16 1/2 to 19. 3.Candidates who are appearing and appeared in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply. 4.Height of the candidate minimum is 157.2 cms (for Airforce 162.5 cms). |

Indian Air Force is one of the wing of NDA. NDA stands for National Defence Academy.This NDA exam is conducted by UPSC. To join in Indian Air Force first you can crack the NDA exam.some of eligibility is there to attempt these NDA exam. Eligibility Criteria: you must be citizen of India. you must complete 12th standard with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM) from any recognized board. Final year appearing students also eligible for this exam Age limit: your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years. There is No age relaxation for this exam. **Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.Girls are not eligible for this exam. you must be physically fit.  Selection Process: Written examination. Medical Test Personnel Interview

Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 10th class? Dear friend, as you cleared your 10th class and you want to join Indian airforce. Dear, to join Indian Airforce you must be physically fit and offcourse to join any defence. Dear,you can join Indian airforce after 12th class only but for this you have to choose NON-MEDICAL stream after your 10th class ,you can join through NDA(NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) conducted by upsc twice in a year. Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 10th class? You can join air force after completing 12th class studies. For this you need to attend NDA entrance exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC two times in a year. HSC class studies must be completed with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. Also your age must fall between 16 ½ and 19 years. |
