Hi friend,

There are two types of exams for joining in to INDIAN ARMY. You must

clear one of the two exams to enter into the indian army.

They are NDA and CDS exam.

NDA exam is for joining army as a soldier. You can write this exam

with just a pass in 12th std. That is after finishing school you can write NDA

exam.

CDS exam allows you to enter any of the three defense services. And

it allows you to enter inside as an officer. This exam needs a graduate. Which

means you need to finish a degree to get eligible for writing CDS exam.

Indian army exam is conducted by the upsc twice in a year.
Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should complete +2 from any recognised state board of india

The candidate should be a citizen of india.

The age should be 16.5years to 19years

Only unmarried male candidates are eligibile to appear.

there are some conditions to be follow:

eligibility :
- you must complete your 12th in recognized board.
- you must 60% aggregate in degree.

age limit :
- 19 to 24 years

dates are :
there are two part such as :

CDS-I :
- Issuing of application from
29-10-2011 to 28-11-2011.

exam :
- exam will held on 12-2-2012.

CDS-II :
- Issuing of application from
2-6-2012 to 2-7-2012.

exam :
- exam will held on 16-9-2012.

Hai,.

UES exam is conducted by the upsc.

How to apply?

If you are in Pre Final year
student then you have to wait
for the notification and if
notificaion comes in
Employment news then you
can apply it and send it to your near by command.After
application procedure gets
over then you have to go for
Pre SSB there you have
perform well as in Interview ,
if you clear it then you will be allowed to go for SSB in some
boards.

You can join Indian Army after passing 12th with any stream.

For this you have to qualify the national Defence Academy(N.D.A)
Age limit of N.D.A exam:- 16.5-19 year

You can also join Indian army after passing graduation.

For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E).
Age limit of C.D.S exam:- 19-24 year.

There are many ways by which candidates can join Indian army. Candidates can appear in the CDS exam and if get qualified can join the Army. Candidates with +2 as qualification can enter the Army through NDA. If you are a graduate then direct entry would be the best option. Another option available for engineering graduates is through Military engineering Services which are also through direct entry. For more information please visit the official website.

SIR,you have many choices. UPSC conducts exam for NDA TWICE A year .you can write it after completing your 12th std exam,age limit -16.5to 19years. you can join indian army after doing your graduation and for that u can appear for CDS exam,conducted twice a year by UPSC, as a permanent commissioned officer. you can also join army as a short serice commissioned officer . other option is for territorial army, it is a part of indian army which helps army during drought,floods,earthquakes etc.for girls OTA is a nice option. but please mention your interest and stream in 12th std.

Its great opportunity to you to serve for your own country,if you have the caliber you must join the Indian Army.

As you have not yet completed your graduation level,you have to complete it ,then you can apply for then you can get chance to take admission in Indian Army.

There are some selection procedure such as:

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recruit the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

According to the Eligibility Criteria:

i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University.

ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE).

iii)For (AFA) you should have the degree of recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE)

Age Limit:

i)For IMA:19-24 Years
ii)For OTA:19-23 Years
iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years
iv)For AFA :19-25 Years

They select the students through the
i) Written Test
ii)Intelligence & Personality test
iii)Medical test.

Exam Pattern
i) Written Test

for IMA / Naval Academy / AFA
All the three papers are of objective type containing the
English
General Knowledge
Elementary Mathematics
total 300 marks,each paper 100 marks.

for OTA
All the two papers are of objective type containing the
English
General Knowledge
total 200 marks,each paper of 100 marks.

ii)Intelligence & Personality test :Generally here checks the Personality of the candidate,GD,group planning, physical fitness test, interview, small lectures on general issues & psychological tests. etc...

iii)Medical test.
After getting selected in interview ,the candidates are called for medical examination which is conducted by Military Hospitals.

Pre-Commission training After getting final selected the candidates are called for Training.

Dear,

The qualifications for the Indian Army is as follows:-

--> 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks.

--> Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it.

--> Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years with no relaxation.

--> Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

--> No color blindness with 6/6 eyesight.
