IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Every year IBPS is conducting common written exams for the recruitment of the following positions
Clerks
Probationary officers
Office assistants
for all the 19 public sector banks.

As per clerical positions, you should crack the following selection procedure to get clerk job
IBPS Common Written Exam
Interview

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
Reasoning
Numerical Aptitude
General Awareness
General English
Computer and Marketing knowledge.

One should have completed Graduation in order to be eligible for this exam.

My suggestion for you is to take coaching for this exam from a top coaching institute.

Because coaching institute provides a platform for you to crack the exam
by conducting mock tests
by providing required knowledge to the exam
by offering excellent study material etc.

Make most out of that.

As per the recommended books,
R.S.Agarwal is the top book available to prepare for IBPS or for any bank exam.

The materials from the Institute are also valuable for you.

The competition for this exam is too high. You should have high level preparation to crack this exam.

Wish you all the best.
