Re: Is it possible to join Deck cadet course after passing 10th with 76% and 50% in PCM in 12th? I have done my SSc and i havent done my 12 in PCM is it possible in any ways that i can join as a cadet or any post below that...I dont mind starting at low post but i got to reach as a captian in the long run can you suggest me any courses or anything or any ways?thank you waiting for your reply |

Now, as per Directorate General of Shipping, the Pre-sea course for Deck Cadets is to be sponsored by the recruiting company. To be considered eligible for the course, candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% (average score) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a minimum of 50% marks in English in the Higher Secondary examination conducted by a recognized board. As far as age limit is concerned, the maximum age limit is 20 years and the duration of the Pre-Sea course is 6 months. |
