I am studying 2nd year chemical engineering hai, To become a Loco Pilot first you need to give the Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) exam.which a candidates have complete diploma in Mechanical/automobile/electrical or electronics then they are also eligible to apply for this exam. Eligibility Criteria: candidates must have 10th class and you should have completed your ITI in any trade from a recognized university. If you have completed diploma in mechanical/automobile/electrical or electronics then you can also apply for this exam. Age limit: Your age should be between 18 years to 30 years.The age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST categories as per Government rules. Selection Process: 1.Written examination 2.Interview. Best books for RRB Loco Pilot Exam: 1.RRB ALP: Railway Recruitment Board Assistant Loco Pilot Examination by Lal & Jain Publisher: Upkar Prakashan (2008) 2.Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Solved Papers by Kiran Prakashan Publisher: Kiran Prakashan Assistant Loco pilot details: Educational Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent undre 10+2 system and Course Completed Act Apprentice or ITI recognised by SCVT/NCVT or Diploma in Mecahnical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engg recognised by AICTE or higher qualification. Selection Process : Written Examination followed by Aptitude Test and Document Verification. Salary for Assistant Loco Pilot : Pay Scale: 5200-20200 Grade Pay: 1900 regards...santhosh............. |

I am studying 2nd year chemical engineering Hi,  Required Qualifications for Loco Pilot To give the exam you need to be a 10 pass out and you should have completed your ITI in any trade from a recognized university If you have a diploma degree in mechanical/automobile/electrical or electronics then also you can apply for this exam your age should between 18 to 30 years however there is age relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates Selection procedure includes written exam and personal interview....
