Re: What is the qualification needed to join Indian Air Force? >> You can join Air Force through the following : * NDA * CDS * AFCAT . >> NDA - National Defence Academy >> Qualifications Required :- . * You must have qualified your 12th standard with a minimum of 55% in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics. . * Age limit - 16.5 years to 19 years . >> CDS - Combined Defence Services >> CDS Qualifications Required :- . * Yot must have completed degree with Mathematics and Physics or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent qualification. . * You must posses graduate degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification. . * Age Limit - 19 to 25 years . >> AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test >> AFCAT Qualifications Required :- . * You must posses a graduate degree in Engineering from a recognized University. . * Age limit - 20 to 27 years . > For details regarding NDA and CDS, visit : www.upsc.gov.in And > For details regarding AFCAT, visit : www.careerairforce.nic.in |

Those who are graduate are apply for CDS Examination and this examination is also conducted by UPSC, twice and your age should between 19 to 23 years to apply for CDS. If you have scored minimum 60% marks in your Graduation from a recognised university and must have study Maths and Physics as a subject in your Intermediate examination then you can also apply for AFCAT Examination and Join Flying Branch, your age should between 19 to 23 years. Those who are from Mechanical and Electronics Engineering candidates may apply for technical Branch of IAF. Age should between 18 to 28 years. Any graduate candidates go for Ground duty branch and age should between 20 to 23 years. These are the entries to Join Indian air force, please check the employment Newspaper for more details about Notifications. |
