Re: Am I eligible to do BCA after passing 12th in Arts? Hi Yes, you can go for BCA after 12th in arts. Eligibility for BCA in most of the top universities is pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2. (It may vary with the university you choose) You must try to get yourself enrolled in the top universities of India such as: Lovely Professional university- Punjab, Manav Rachna University, Loyola College - Chennai Department of Science (Christ University) - Bangalore Miranda House - Delhi Madras Christian College(MCC) - Chennai Hindu College - Delhi Sri Venkateswara College - Delhi Sharda University etc. I hope it helps. |

Eligibility Criteria for B.C.A:----This course required a candidates to have passed HSC(12th) exam from any stream with English as passing subject from a recognized board. Candidates should be secured minimum 45% marks in 12th standard. Eligibility Criteria for BCA Course Admission to the Bachelors in Computer Application is based on certain eligibility criteria’s. The eligibility criteria for most institutes across the country are similar. It is a must to fulfil these criteria’s in order to secure admission. General Eligibility Criteria for Indian students for BCA Course The individual’s must be a citizen of India. Also preference is given to those who are residents of the state. Some institute do keep an age limit of 17 years. Documents to be attached with Application Forms for BCA Course Along with the filled application the candidate must send the required documents to prove that they meet all the required eligibility criteria’s. The documents to be attached will include the following: Copy of School leaving certificate to prove their age Copy of their 10th standard certificate Copy of their 12th standard certificate Copy of the domicile certificate |

BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application. Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should be citizen of India. Candidate should complete the 12th standard from science stream. Candidate required the Maths, physics subjects in 12th standards. Percentage not required for this exam.  All the best.. |

Re: Am I eligible to do BCA after passing 12th in Arts? Yes. You are eligible to join BCA course after completion of 12th class in Arts stream. This is not a problem at all. You can also go for B.Com Computers. This course is a technical related stream in Commerce field at Graduation level. The candidates can get direct admission for BCA course in many of the colleges. However some colleges will put their own eligibility criteria like -50% of marks in 12th class -candidates should be having Mathematics at 10+2 level But this criteria will be varied from one college to another college. As you are going to join BCA course, I suggest you to opt for MCA course at Post Graduation level. This will fetch you good job opportunities in IT field in various top software companies like TCS Wipro Infosys IBM Mahindra Satyam Dell Delloite etc. So, try to get grip on the subject in the academics and from the 2nd year of BCA course, start preparation for the Entrance Exam. I have seen many of the candidates who are not qualifying in the selection procedure due to lack of subject knowledge. Some other candidates were eliminated from the selection procedure as they are not able to present the subject that they have. I don't want you to be in that list. Try to be good enough in the areas which I mentioned above. As long as you are in IT field, your logical skills will play a key role to get the job and to perform well in the job which you join. So improve logical skills and learn upcoming technologies. you will be having good career go a head. Wish you all the best. |

BCA Stands for bachelor of computer applications BCA is an 3 year undergraduate course You have eligible to apply for BCA after your 12th from arts stream. So, commerce students with mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 level can apply for the BCA course. Re: Am I eligible to do BCA after passing 12th in Arts? Pass in 12th class is the basic qualification required for BCA. HSC pass must be obtained with mathematics as a subject. A minimum of 50% marks is required. Study of mathematics in 12th is not mandatory for admission in certain colleges like Rosary College of Commerce and Arts. Admission is done on the basis of 12th class marks. |

ELIGIBILITY FOR BCA: 12th pass with mathematics and in some colleges you should have done 12th only . so for some colleges you satisfy the minimum requirements and you can take admission in these colleges .but if you are not intereted in studying maths then this is not best course for you because you have to study maths there if you apply for BCA there is one extra subject in all the semesters i.e Mathematical Evolution which is also a mathematics subject. All the best...... |
