Re: When will the next CAT exam be held? Hello, CAT COMMON ADMISSION TEST 2013 dates are as follows-: Start Date of Registration-> 05/08/2013. Last Date of Registration-> 26/09/2013. CAT TEST Date-> 16/10/2013 to 11/11/2013. The registration fees for the General/OBC candidates is -> Rs.1600 and Rs.800 for the SC/ST candidates as well as for the Physically handicapped candidates. Eligibility-: Graduation with 50% (GENERAL/OBC candidates) and 45% (SC/ST candidates) of marks from a recognised University. Age Limit-> No age bar for the CAT Examination. CAT is one of the best MBA Entrance Exam Which is held by IIM (Indian Institutes of Management) for MBA Courses. CAT Exam is held in November usually on third sunday of November Common Admission Test (CAT) is an entrance test for admission in Management Courses. CAT is all India national level computer based test. Eligibility Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized College or University with at least 50% marks. Candidates who have cleared the qualifying exam by means of any of these methods can apply for the CAT exam you must be Indian citizen. Paper Pattern The question paper will be separated in 2 sections. Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation Verbal Ability & Logical reasoning CAT Exam Centers Surat Udaipur Trivendrum Vijaywada Exam Date The IIM Common Admission Test will be conducted in 20 days window from 16 October to 11 November 2013. $$ Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) conducts the CAT Examination which is an entrance exam for admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programs in management courses of several management institutes all over India. $$ The weightage assigned to CAT score may differ for each institute. Other parameters which are also considered are as follows:- academic performance, work experience, group discussion, written assessment and interview performance. $$ It is a computer based test, conducted in multiple cities during a window of 3-4 weeks. You will be given the option to choose the test date and slot as per choice and availability. $$ You must be a graduate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the ministry of HRD, Government of India. $$ There is 5% relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST/DA/PWD needs to guarantee not less than 45% of marks in aggregate. $$ If you are appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination or you have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results then also you can apply. $$ Test Duration & Pattern:-

While the Common Admission Test is conducted by Indian Institutes of Management, it is widely accepted throughout the country. There are several colleges in India that accepts the CAT score to offer admission for the Master of Business Administration. This list also includes: National Institutes of Technology (NIT) Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) CAT Eligibility 1. You will need graduation degree to be eligible. 2. With no less than 50 percent marks if belongs to General or OBC. 3. Requirement for SC/ST is 45 percent. Re: When will the next CAT exam be held? Hi this Year, CAT exam is scheduled from 16th October to 11th November. there would be two slots each day, one morning and one evening. Registration would began from 29th July. You need to purchase CAT voucher from selected Axis Bank and have to fill the application form online as per the steps given in voucher. While filling form, you have to give your time and date slot preference all the best |
