Hello Friend...

IBPS conducts the clerk cadre exam every year... As you want to know about the maximum age limit of that exam..

So the maximum age limit for IBPS clerk exam is 28 years..

Relaxation in age limit
--SC->5 Years
--ST->5 years
--OBC->3 years
--PWD->10 years

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personal Selection.The examination is conducted for joining in Banking sector for different posts Clerk and PO .

The eligibility criteria is graduation student or in the final year of graduation can apply for it.The age criteria is
20-28 years --- general candidates.
20-31 years ---- OBC candidates.
20-33 years ----- SC/ST candidates.

The examination is taken in two phases as
Written
Interview.

The written paper contains questions from Reasoning,English,Aptitude,General knowledge and computer and its processing .

Dear friend

IBPS Clerk exam is conducted twice in a year on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks. Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts this entrance exam.

Earlier for IBPS Clerk candidates who have passed 12th standard were also eligible. But recently Institute of Banking Personnel Services made some changes on the request of participating banks which means that now candidate should be graduate to appear for the IBPS Clerk entrance exam.


Eligibility

1. You should be citizen of India.

2. Any bachelor degree from recognized university.

3. There is no percentage criteria.

4. Diploma/degree in Computers is also required. Alternatively you should have studied Computers/IT as one of the subjects in high school or college.

5. Must be fluent in official language of the state where you want job.

6. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for IBPS Clerk.

7. Upto 3 years relaxation for OBC.

8. SC and ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation.

For General Category, the maximum age limit for applying for IBPS Clerk Exams is 28 years. For Reserved Categories, there is relaxation in the upper age as per Government Guidelines which is as follows:

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe - 5 years

Other Backward Classes - 3 years

Persons With Disability - 10 years

Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen - actual period of service rendered
in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years

Widows. Divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried - 9 years

Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of

to appear in IBPS-Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection's Clerk exam there is difference of upper age limit for all categories. As you have not mention your category, following is the whole sole eligibility criteria in terms of age to be fulfilled by the candidate-

>General candidate- minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years

>OBC candidate- minimum 20 years and maximum 31 years

>SC/ST candidate- minimum 20 years and maximum 33 years

for the clerical examination the minimum eligible age is 19 years and the maximum age is 28 years. This is the criteria for the general category. A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and sc/st students.
The academic qualifications required are that you should be hiving a minimum of 60% marks in 10th or 50% marks in 12th.

IBPS CWE Exam Details:-

All the major public sector banks of India except SBI takes part in the IBPS CWE. So in total almost 19 banks participates in this one. The exam is conducted for the following posts: Probationary officers, clerical cadre and specialist officers.

It is to be remembered that the score card one will get after getting selected will be valid for one year only. In order to improve your result you can definitely give the exam again though. With the card you can apply to any bank of your choice.

You should know how to operate computers. It helps if you have done some sort of crash course and have the certificates to show as a proof. It will do if you have studied computer application as a subject at 10+2 level.

Multiple-choice objective type questions comes for the exam. Its an online exam of five papers and the exam lasts for two hours. Total marks allotted for the paper is 200 marks.

Areas of Weightage: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness with special reference to the Banking Industry, and Computer Knowledge. For each paper 40 marks have been allotted.

age limit for IBPS is as such
lower age limit should be 19 year while upper age limit should be 28 years(relaxable upto 5 years for sc/st,upto 3 years for obc,upto 10 years for PWD,upto 5 years for ex-serviceman,upto 9 years for widows

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection conducts exam for bank Clerical job for 19 Public Sector banks.

The maximum age limit for IBPS Clerical exam is 28 years for General candidate which is relaxed for OBC candidate up to 3 years and for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years.

Apart from this eligibility criteria the eligible candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either completed 10th with 60% marks or having completed 12th with 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board or having completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 18 to 28 years. The candidate should be a computer literate one.

IBPS Clerk exam is conducted twice in a year on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks. Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts this entrance exam.

Earlier for IBPS Clerk candidates who have passed 12th standard were also eligible. But recently Institute of Banking Personnel Services made some changes on the request of participating banks which means that now candidate should be graduate to appear for the IBPS Clerk entrance exam.


Eligibility

1. You should be citizen of India.

2. Any bachelor degree from recognized university.

3. There is no percentage criteria.

4. Diploma/degree in Computers is also required. Alternatively you should have studied Computers/IT as one of the subjects in high school or college.

5. Must be fluent in official language of the state where you want job.

6. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for IBPS Clerk.

7. Upto 3 years relaxation for OBC.

8. SC and ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation.

9. Upto 10 years relaxation is given to PWD.

The eligibility for the IBPS exam is as follows :-

1. A candidate must be a graduate
2. Graduation must be completed from a UGC recognized university
3. Minimum percentage required are none that means anybody can apply
4. Age limit is 21-30 however there is some relaxation to those who fall under Sc/St or other minority community
5. No subject preference that means students from any subject can apply

Now coming to your question. You said that you want to know the max. Age limit then i have mentioned it above that is 21-30 years but if you are from Other minority class then you are liable to get a relaxation.

Education :

You need to have a degree of bachelor i.e., bachelor degree and now a minimum of +2 is enough for the clerk post in IBPS exam

AGE :

20-28 is the age

For clerk only graduation is required from any recognized university and for PO exam Graduation with minimum 55% aggregates must from any recognized university.

Eligibility criteria:-

Your age should be between 20 to 30 years for general candidates
5 years relaxation for SC/ST Candidates
3 years Upper age relation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PWD Candidates

Dear aspirant,

-For IBPS clerk exam your age should be 18 to 28 years if you want to apply.

-There is age relaxation available for SC/ST ( 5 years), OBC ( 3 years), Physically handicapped and Ex- servicemen.

-So you can calculate whether you are eligible for IBPS clerk exam or not.

-You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university to be eligible for IBPS clerk exam.

-Previously the eligibility for clerk was 10+2 but recently it is raised to graduation.

-You have to pass objective type paper and personal interview to become a clerk in bank.

IBPS ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) conducts the common written exam for PO's / Management Trainee and Clerk cadre.

Dude already IBPS is going to conduct the CWE for Clerk care on 27th November 2011 , and the registration date for this session is already closed . So you have to wait for other 6 months to apply for Clerk cadre exam , IBPS did not announced the Clerk cadre exam notification in its official website www.ibps.in

Eligibility :

Educational qualification :

you must have passed you SSC / SSLC / Matriculation from any recognized board with minimum of 60% marks.
or
you must have passed +2 with minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board.
or
you must be a Degree holder.

Age Criteria :

you must have minimum of 18 years and maximum of 28 years of age , Upper age relaxation is accepted if you belong to any special category's like

- SC / ST - 5 years
- Other BC - 3 years
- PH - 10 years
