Re: Is a B.Tech student eligible to apply for CDS? What is the minimum pay? CDS stands for Combined Defence Service. This exam conducts Union Public Service Commission twice in a year namely CDS-I and CDS-II. > CDS has three wings :~ • Indian Military Academy • Indian Naval Academy • Indian Air force Academy • Officer's Training Academy ♦>> Eligibility :~ • Nationality : The candidate should be Citizen of India. • Educational Qualification : ♦ The candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized university. ♦ Percentage not required for this exam. ♦ Physics chemistry and Mathematics subjects are required for the Indian Navy and Air force recruitments. • Age Limit : Indian Military Academy: The age limit is 19 to 24 years. Indian Naval: The age limit is 19 to 22 years. Indian Air force: The age limit is 19 to 23 years. Officer Training: The age limit is 19 to 25 years. • Gender : Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Female candidates are not eligible. Female candidates eligible only Officer Training. But candidate should be unmarried. ♦>> Selection Process :~ • Written Test • Medical/Physical Test • Interview >> Referred official website : www.upsc.gov.in >> To apply for CDS, you have to choose for online mode of application and apply through www.upsconline.nic.in |
