Re: Can I get admission in Law college after passing HS in WB board? hello dear, you are very much elligible for llb after your 12th standard as you have passed 12th standard ,you will have to clear CLAT exam, your course will be of duration 5year rather than 3yrs, as you are not a graduate student, elligibility for clat 1. must be 12th pass in any stream 2.passed with minimum 45 % 3.sc/st are allowed 5% relaxation in % 4.must be less than 20years of age exam pattern for clat is 1. logical reasoning 2.legal aptitude 3.general knowledge/current affairs 4.elementry maths 5.english best of luck |

Yes, you can take admission to 5 years LL.B.(Bachelor of Law) course after passing West Bengal HS Board, i.e. 12th Board through cracking CLAT entrance exam. CLAT - Common Law Admission Test, conducted by reputed Law Institutions like National Law University for admission to 5 years Integrated LL.B. Degree - The eligible candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised Board within the age of 20 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate, can apply for CLAT. Re: Can I get admission in Law college after passing HS in WB board? You can get admission for law course but it will depend on how well you perform in the entrance exam. Having completed 12th from West Bengal Board is sufficient enough to apply for entrance exam for 5 years LLB. Please remember that you are eligible for 5 years LLB and not the 3 years one. The 5 years LLB integrates a Bachelor's degree and LLB. To apply for this course you must appear for the Common Law Admission Test. I should point out that there is no need to take any specific subjects in 12th standard to apply for the Common Law Admission Test. Any subjects are sufficient enough for the BA LLB entrance exam called Common Law Admission Test. This exam is conducted for National Law University. CLAT Eligibility 1. You should finish 12th standard. 2. Subjects could be any of your choice. 3. 45 percent marks in 12th standard. 4. SC/ST/PWD need 40 percent marks. 5. Your age should be below 20 years. 6. Re: Can I get admission in Law college after passing HS in WB board? Ofcourse you can. You can give various law entrance exams or look for direct admission in the private colleges. There is the state level law entrance exam as well. But i would recommend you to for CLAT as the national law universities guarantees placements whereas the state level law universities is not that great. You can give the CLAT exam to study law in the top national law universities in India. To give this entrance exam you should have minimum 50% in aggregate and your age should not be more than 20 years. CLAT syllabus:- English with comprehension General Knowledge Current Affairs Elementary Mathematics Legal Aptitude Logical Reasoning Following are the top CLAT universities:- National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
