It is conducted every year.The Eligibility for the same is as, ELIGIBILITY FOR IBPS POs-: A bachelor's degree from any recognised university. The miminum age must not be less than 20 years of age,whereas the maximum age must not be more than 30 years of age. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC(non-creamy layer candidates). Knowledge in Computers is desirable though not mandatory. PATTERN-: Total Marks-> 200. Total Sections-> 5. 1.Reasoning. 2.English. 3.Quantitative Aptitude. 4.General Awareness. 5.Computer Knowledge. Important Dates-: Online Registrations-> From 22/07/13 to 17/08/13. For online registration pleae visit the provided link http://ibpsreg.sifyitest.com/cwepojul05/ SBI conducts examination for the POs separately as it does not recruit through the IBPS CWE. The Eligibility for the SBI POs-: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. The Age Limit->Minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years of age. Relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates applicable. If you satisfy the above criteria for the IBPS POs then you can apply as the dates are not yet over as mentioned above. The advantage here is that firstly it will give you job in government banks and secondly there are 19 banks that accepts IBPS Bank PO. Therefore once you have cleared the Bank PO exam by Institute of Banking Personnel Services, you can simply apply for job in any of the 19 PSU Banks but it depends of whether there is any vacancy in the banks or not. The Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts Bank PO exam only once a year. Generally it is conducted in June but has been delayed this year to September. This is because IBPS has introducted some changes to the Bank PO eligibility criteria including for the age limit. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. You have to be Indian national. 2. A graduation degree from recognized college. 3. No less than 60 percent marks in graduation. 4. Any diploma or degree related to Computers. 5. You can also apply if studied Computer Science subject in 12th or college. 6. Your age should not be less than 20 years. 7. Upper age limit is set at 28 years. 8. The candidates who have selected for this position will be offered training or induction on all the various roles performed within the bank. As per the required age criteria to apply for these positions, -Candidates of General category should be in the age group of 21-30 years. -Candidates of OBC category should be in the age group of 21-33 years. -Candidates of SC or ST category should be in the age group of 21-35 years. This criteria will be slightly different for private sector banks. The selection procedure to get this job is Written Exam Interview In the written exam, there will be 5 sections. Reasoning Quantitative Aptitude General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge You should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it. There is negative marking for wrong answers which is 1/4th in the sense for every 4 wrong answers you commit, one mark from the marks which you actually scored will be deducted. The required academic qualification that you should have to apply for this exam is Completion of Graduation with minimum 60% of marks. For the candidates of SC or ST category, the required percentage of marks in Graduation is 55% of marks. Recently IBPS PO Exam notification is released. Please apply for this exam and crack it.
