Re: Books to be referred to prepare for UGC NET June? I am a PG commerce student Dear Friend, I would suggest you to study from Trueman Publication's book for National Eligibility Test. The standard of the book is appropriate as well as to the point. All the books are readily available in market and on online book stores. Other than this, you may also take Upkar Publication's book. Practice lots of problems before the examination to increase your accuracy and practice few sample papers in the final stages of your preparation. All the best. Thank you. |

National Eligibility Test. NET exam conducted by the UGC(University Grants Commission) two times in a year i.e in the month of july and december. There is two types in NET exam i.e JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship. Eligibility criteria:- The applicant must have to complete Post-graduation with atleast 55% marks from a recognised university. Final year Post-graduation students are also eligible. You must be a citizen of India. 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Age criteria and relaxation details:- The maximum age limit for JRF is 28 years, There is no minimum age limit. 3 years age relaxation for OBC category candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates. There is no age limits for Lectureship applying candidates. NET exam pattern:-  Application fee details:- Rs. 450/- for General candidates, Rs. 225/- for OBC candidates, Rs. 110/- for SC/ST candidates.
