Re: How can I join IAF after doing graduation in B.A? You can apply for IAF after Graduation by giving the CDS exams. Eligibity to apply for the IAF wing of the CDS exams is: Education: Indian Airforce- Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH Age- Between 19- 23 years Only MALE candidates can apply CDS exams are conducted by UPSC twice each year Other way to apply is to give the AFCAT exams: GROUND DUTY Branch; Education- Graduates in any stream with Minimum 60% marks For the Accounts section-B.COM with minimum 60% marks Age- Between 19 to 23 years |

CDSE is the exam which is conducted by UPSC every year Eligibility :: I.M.A. You must have got degree of a recognized University or equivalent. You must be between 19-24 years Indian Naval Academy : You must have got degree of a recognized University or equivalent and physics and mathematics in class 12th . You must be between 19-24 years 19-22 years Air Force Academy : You must have got degree of a recognized University or equivalent and physics and mathematics in class 12th . You must be between 19-24 years 19-23 years Officers Training Academy(OTA) You must have got degree of a recognized University or equivalent. For NDA and CDSE The advertisement for NDA is released twice a year in the months of May and December and for CDSE in the months of June and October by UPSC. Duly filled applications are to be sent to UPSC as given in advt. The written tests are conducted by UPSC only. For details visit www.upsc.gov.in 2. AFCAT – Air Force Common Admission Test. For all entries other than NDA and CDSE and for all branches, candidates have to undergo the AFCAT. The test is conducted twice a year in February and September Advertisements inviting applications for AFCAT are out in June and December. Candidates are to apply as per the advertisement. The test is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force 3. NCC entry Air Sqn NCC Senior division ‘C’ certificate holders are to apply through DG NCC/ respective NCC Air Squadron They would then appear for AFCAT |
