Three wings in NDA:- Indian army, Indian airforce, Indian navy. Eligibility criteria:- Applicant should be complete 12th standard from any recognised board or university. Percentage is not an issue to apply this exam. Applicant must be physically fit. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are not eligible. 12th standard exams appearing candidates can also be eligible. Selection process:- Written examination, SSB interview, Medical test Exam Pattern:  All the best............ |

Re: Can I apply for NDA after scoring 70% in 10th Hi friend...It is sorry to say that,you are not eligible to apply for NDA examinatiom with your 10th class with 70% of marks...NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission to recruit the candidates in ARMY WING,NAVY WING and AIRFORCE WING of National Defence Academy...The minimum educational qualification required to apply for AIRFORCE & NAVY WINGS is 12th pass in 10+2 pattern with maths,physics subjects and for ARMY WING is 12th pass in 10+2 pattern from recognised institution/university...Age limit to apply for NDA exam is 16 1/2 to 19 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply...ALL THE BEST... |

It has three wings: 1) Indian Air Force 2) Indian Navy 3) Indian Army To become an office in above three UPSC conducted an exam twice in a year. Eligibility Criteria: >> Candidate must be the citizen of India. >> Candidate must be completed 12 in PCM stream from any recognized education board. >> Candidates who are completed class 12 with commerce stream are only eligible for India Army. >> There is no minimum marks required for NDA exam. Age-Limit: >> Minimum age is 16 years and maximum age is 19 years to apply the exam. >> There is no relaxation for reserved categories in age limit. >> Only Unmarried Male candidate is eligible to apply. So My friend complete your class 12 with PCM stream and then apply NDA exam. Good Luck Thanks |

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department then you are applicable for NDA exam. Commerce student are applicable for only for Indian Army branch. But your age should be in between 16 - 19 years. So after 10th standard you are not eligible for NDA exam. percentage marks is not required but you should complete your 12th standard for NDA exam. *ELIGIBILITY* # ARMY WING .....12TH pass # AIRFORCE and NAVY WING ....... 12TH passing with PHY and MATHS as subjects in 12th class. @ BEST OF LUCK @ |

So don't worry first you complete your 12th standard after you can apply for this NDA exam. NDA details: NDA Stands for National Defence Academy and this Examination is Conducted by Union Public Service Commission . This Examination is held every twice in a year in the month of April & August. This NDA Conducts Examination for Army/Navy and Airforce Academy . Age Limits /Sex /Marital Status: Applicant should be unmarried male candidate and the age should be Minimum 16.5 years and Maximum 19 years . Important:There is No Upper age relaxation will Not Applicable for this Examination. **Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this exam. **Females are not Eligible. **You must be Physically and Medically Fit. Education: Applicant should Qualified in 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination from recognized University . Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination . To appear in Air force/Navy Academy then you should Complete Complete 12th standard in science stream (Physics and Mathematics ). There is No Minimum Percentage of marks require for this Examination . Nationality: You must be Indian Origin. Selection Process: written test Medical test Interview |

Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings. For Navy / Air force wings:- Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board. There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination . Age limit:- Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam. Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam. Re: Can I apply for NDA after scoring 70% in 10th its too early for you ...! well you still have a chance for NDA choose science stream since you have scored 70% its easy for you...(remember choose wisely) take PCM physics , chemistry and maths. then when you will be in class 11 and 12 NDA application forms will be released on http://upsc.gov.in . stay connected to this website for updates and previous year question papers.

HERE'S THE CRITERIA FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE :- NDA Eligibility Nationality : Must be a citizen of India. Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : “Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1995 are eligible”. Educational Qualifications : (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. BEST REGARDS ... |

Re: Can I apply for NDA after scoring 70% in 10th Scoring 70% in 10th standard is not a criteria to apply for NDA, in fact there is no percentage criteria in 12th which is the minimum academic qualification to apply for NDA. NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.
