NDA stands for National Defence Academy. This exam conducted by the UPSC twice in a year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II. Three wings in NDA:- Indian army, Indian airforce, Indian navy. Eligibility criteria:- Applicant should be complete 12th standard from any recognised board or university. Percentage is not an issue to apply this exam. Applicant must be physically fit. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are not eligible. 12th standard exams appearing candidates can also be eligible. Physical Requirements for NDA Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms . Navy wings :- Acceptable height is 157 cms . Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms . Check out the chart list wise height / weight requirements :- Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms. These are the Vision Eligibility for the NDA . But for the Indian Air force It has the special requirements they are the Corrected With Glass -> 6/6 Uncorrected without glasses - > 6/6, 6/9 Limits of Myopia - > NIL Limits of the Hypermetropia -> + 2.00 D Sph Color Vision -> CPL ( MLT) Astigmatism -> +0.75 Cyl Near Vision - > N-5 each Eye Selection process:- Written examination, SSB interview, Medical test All the best.......... |

Hai friend NDA stands for National Defence Services.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year for the three wings namely : 1.Indian Army 2.Indian Navy 3.Indian Airforce If you have completed 12th or equivalent then you can apply for the NDA exam.Age limit is betwqeen 16.5 to 19 years.No age relaxation is provided for any reservation category candidates. For details regarding about your eye sight that you can qualify for NDA exam or not you can check in the below table : I hope that the information provided by me will be satisfied by you,if your eye sight is very weak than mentioned in the above table then you can qualify for NDA exam in Medical Test. If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India. hen you can definitely applicable. Friend, For the NDA concerned it is very strict incase of the Physical fitness .According to the Eye Sight eligibility for the NDA is Without Glasses Better Eye sight - 6/6 Worse Eyes sight - 6/9 With Eye Glasses Better Eye sight - 6/6 Worse Eye sight - 6/6 The candidates must follow the eye sight requirements in any cases if the candidates any defects in their eye sight then such candidates are rejected from the further selection tests.So you have to fit in all respects of the body you should not have any defects in your body. In case Even though If you apply then you will be rejected in the NDA medical Examination. The candidates must have all requirements specified in the Notification. About the Notification The Notification is given in the employment news papers and also in the offcial website of the UPSC Apart from this you should know other edibility conditions also. This exam is conducted every year and In order to apply for the exam at least you have to complete Intermediate. The candidates selected on the bases of the Written Test SSB Interview Medical Examination |
