Re: Can I get admission in Management quota in VIT in B.Tech after scoring less than 50% marks in PCM in class 12th? -> VIT :- Vellore Institute of Technology . -> Actually VIT institute conducts entrance exam named VITEEE , one who wish to join in VIT should appear in that exam and qualify in that exam . Based on the rank fee concession and admission will be decided . -> You should have got 65% percentage in your 2 but no problem if you secure decent rank in the entrance exam . |

And how much donation i have to pay? plz reply asap. |

Hi friend The fee structure for candidates admitted under management quota(donation) depends on: The rank obtained by the candidate in the VITEEE exam. The stream one wishes to pursue engineering in The campus of vit(chennai or vellore) I know a lot of people personally who have taken seats through management quota for VIT this year. One of them had a rank of 85000 and he is currently paying 5 lakhs as tution fee every year instead of 1.1 lakh for normal candidates(excluding hostel fee) for computer science at vellore campus. Another person is paying 4 lakh tution fee every year in vellore campus(mechanical engineering) and his rank in VITEEE was 69000 So basically there are slots for each rank and also for each stream. So there's no fixed amount for donation, but I am sure the minimum donation would be around 3 lakh per annum for a rank range of 20000-30000. |

Yes, you can get admission into VIT university with the percentage you have mentioned under the management quota. Basically you will have to pay an additional amount to the existing fee every year. The amount of donation you will have to pay will depend upon the rank you obtain in the VITEEE. it usually will range from Rs.3,00,000 per year and can extend upto 4,00,000. Good luck

But you have to pay donation which will be high inn such universities . You can directly go to college and can talk with them . But i suggest dont waste that much money for danations |
