Dear friend,

Only doing of diploma will not work, as for doing MBA you should have a graduate degree in any discipline with 50% for general category ,wheras 45% is required for sc/st candidates from recognized university.

After satisfying the education qualification you have to sit for an entrance exam like MAT,CAT,SNAP, and you have to score above 95 percentile in order to get admission in a top MBA COLLEGE.LIKE :XLRI, IIM , FMS, etc..

Good Luck

Re: Can I do MBA after diploma in EEE?

Dear Friend,

Sorry to say but you cannot do MBA if you have just completed your diploma in EEE.

This is because in order to pursue MBA , the educational qualification required is Graduation from any recognized college/university.

So , i suggest you to complete your graduation first then you can pursue graduation.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

It is not possible to do MBA after diploma. You need to have graduation degree for admission in MBA. Diploma is not considered equivalent to the gradution course which means you are not eligible for Master of Business Administration.

I don't think you should go for MBA anyway. After diploma the best option in front of you is B.Tech. You can get admission in the second year of B.Tech through the lateral entry. You should take admission for B.Tech in EEE since changing stream now would make it extremely hard for you.

LEET entrance exam is especially for the lateral entry admission. You can also apply for direct admission which is offered by various colleges. At least 50-60 percent marks are required in diploma course to be eligible for B.Tech course.

After completing Bachelor of Technology you certainly can apply for Master of Business Administration. However I am not sure whether you should do that. Because after completing B.Tech you can apply for Public Sector Undertaking jobs that requires 60 percent marks in B.Tech.

Alternatively you can also apply for job in private sector or appear for the Indian Engineering Service exam. There are so many choices. This also includes MBA. Since B.Tech is considered as graduation course you can apply for MBA.

To do so you will have to appear for entrance exams like CAT, XAT and MAT. It would be up to you to decide. If want admission is best B-School then take the CAT exam. This exam is your ticket to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). You will require 50 percent marks (General) and 45 percent marks (SC/ST) in graduation to appear for Common Admission Test.

If you have got low percentage in graduation then Management Aptitude Test would certainly be best option since there is no percentage requirement to appear for it. A graduation degree is more than enough.

After diploma, it is not possible to get direct admission to MBA. Graduation is the basic qualification for MBA course. Admissions are offered through CAT/MAT entrance tests. You can try for integrated BBA MBA program. Pass in 12th or diploma is the basic qualification required.
