Re: Is it possible to do CS and Law course together after 12th?

I am pursuing cs along with b.com from a govt. College. I dont need to attend classes there. I have heard that law along with cs is a much better option than just doing cs. But i have also heard that both pursuing can be tough. So what should i do? Should i opt for both or first complete my cs and then move to LLB? Its because i have not taken a good college.. so will that affect too? I am really confused . Please suggest.

If you are doing BBA than ideally you should go for MBA after completion of your BBA

There is no point studying LAW after doing BBA

If you do the MBA from good colleges than you can make a career for yourself

Selection procedure for the MBA course involves:
>> Written Test
>> Group Discussion
>> Interviews

MBA written Tests that you can appear are:

MAT- Minimum Eligibilty to apply is Graduation pass. This test is conducted by AIMA.

CAT- Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks for general and OBC candidates and 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates.

SNAP- This exam is conducted by Symbiosis, Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks.

XAT- Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass

To get calls from Good MBA colleges you have to get atleast 95 percentile marks in the all these written tests.

After this you would be called by colleges for the next rounds that is Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Re: Is it possible to do CS and Law course together after 12th?

Hi Friend...................

Generally there is two ways to do the LLB course.

First after the 10+2,the eligibility for this is:

>> You must have scored at least 50% in 10+2 from any stream.

>> Your age should not exceed 20 years.

>> You have to qualify for the CLAT examinations.

>> CLAT stands for common law admission test.

>> The duration of this LLB course is five years.

After qualifying this examination with good marks ,you are eligible to get admission in good colleges which offers this course.

Second is doing LLB after graduation.

>> The duration for this LLB is only 3 years.

>> Grdauation in any stream from a recognised university in any stream.

Syllabus for entrance examination

>> Logical reasoning

>> General awareness

>> Aptitude test

>> Communication skills.

Some good institutes for this course:

>> Amity law school

>> National institute of law

>> Chanakya law university.

Re: Is it possible to do CS and Law course together after 12th?

Yes she can do.

Like CA, CS is also a professional course which is carried out in correspondence mode. Whereas Law will be of 5 years long regular course.

She can do like this- Taken admission in CS foundation and simultaneously get into LLB, with specialization in Corporate Law it will be much better for a CS candidate if she is opting for law with corporate law as specialisation.

But things will get tougher for her to manage, as she have to manage both CS and Law simultaneously. Clash of examination dates may also create a head ache. Besides these managing both courses will take great effort and hard work to score better. Besides this she would surely have to opt for good coaching for CS and Law if required.

So, confirm with her if she is capable to manage CS studies coaching Law studies simultaneously.

If not better first complete her CS, then opt for LLB (Corporate Law), it will take additional 3 years to complete LLB. If she is going just after 2 will take 5 years for completion.

Re: Is it possible to do CS and Law course together after 12th?

sorry but you can not do two degrees together

this is as given in law itself.

i.e. at one time you can only do one government recognized

course,

This rule is made so that one would put his efforts

in gaining proficiency in his field of study, and not get distracted in just obtaining

degree as a piece of paper.

Re: Is it possible to do CS and Law course together after 12th?

Hello Sir,
Before enrolling for both the course together, you must know and understand the structure of both the professional courses.
Firstly, I would like to tell you about the Company Secretary course
The course comprises of three programs
Foundation program
Executive Program
Professional Program
After qualifying all the three programs, the candidates has undergo a practical training for a period of 15 months, in a company or CS firm.
After the 15 month training, the candidate has to go through another practical training for a period of 15 days in registrar of company, Stock exchange, SEBI, Company Law Board etc.

As far as course in LLB is concerned, after +2, the duration of the course is 5 years. After completion of the course, the candidate will have to appear for an exam conducted by All India Bar Council and has to complete 1 year internship, to be eligible to practice in court.

Now, according to me, your daughter should enroll for Company Secretary after +2 and law after graduation. This will enable your daughter to complete all the three programs of CS i.e Foundation, Executive and Professional program, along with graduation. After this, she can enroll for the LLb and could pursue while going through the practical training of Company Secretary course. In this way, she could manage to pursue both the courses without much difficulties, but if she decides to pursue both CS and LLb after +2, its not advisable for better results.
