Re: How to go abroad for masters? I am a B.Tech electronics and communication 1.M.Tech : During the B.Tech course duration, prepare well for GATE, ISRO, BARC etc. exams. Once GATE is cleared with good score, you can choose various specialisations offered in IIT's, NIT’s, IIIT's, CFTI's. A) Communications and Signal Processing B) RF and Microwave Engineering C) VLSI and Microelectronics D) Optoelectronics Also there are Inter-disciplinary branches like system and control engineering. 2.MS- Many of the foreign universities offer MS with or without GRE, IELTS exams. 3.M.Des- This is one of the promising field and many of the Indian Institutes offer. While doing masters, one can prepare for civil services exam, engineering services exam, state exams as well for various PSU’s. |
