Re: What is the population of Rajasthan? Dear friend The population of Rajasthan state is nearly 7,10,41,283 persons. From the above population,the male candidates are 3,56,20,086 members. And the female candidates are 3,30,00,926 members. Nearly 88% of the population are Hindus and 8% of the population are Muslims and remaining 4% are other categories.The current literacy state of Rajasthan is 67% is less when compared to the overall states literacy rate(74% of india. Ashok Gehlot of Indian National Congress is the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. As per 2011 census the total population of Rajasthan is around 68,548,437 approximately aound 6.86 crores making it the 8th most populous state of India. Male population->35,550,997. Female population->32,997,440. The Urban population consists of around 24.87% of the total population whereas the rural population consists of around 75.13% of the total population. It has Sex Ratio of 928 Females per 1000 Males. Rajasthan has a Literacy rate of 66.11%. Male Literacy->79.19%. Female Literacy->47.76%. Good Luck. |
