You can eligible for the Indian Air force after doing Engineering in Mechanical Branch. first you can crack the CDS exam. CDS stands for Combined Defense Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. CDS - I CDS - II CDS exam has four wings:- ***Indian naval academy, ***Indian airforce academy, ***Indian military academy, ***Officer training academy. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate must have to complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. Final year exams appearing candidates may also eligible and there is no percentage restrictions for this exam. Male and female both are eligible for this exam. You must be a citizen of india. You should be physically fit. Age criteria:- ***For naval academy--> 19 to 22years, ***For airforce academy--> 19 to 23 years, ***for military academy-->19 to 24 years, ***For medicser training academy--> 19 to 25 years. ***No age relaxation. Re: How can I enter in India Air Force while doing engineering in mechanical branch HI FRIEND ## After the completion of mechanical engineering, you can join in Indian AirForce by clearing CDS exam ## CDS examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission to recruit the candidates in various vacancies under Indian Military Academy,Indian Navy Academy,Indian Airforce Academy and Officers Training Academy ## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for IMA is Graduation, for INA is degree in engineering, for IAF is degree(with mathematics,physics at 10+2 level)/engineering degree, for OTA is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution ## Age limit to apply ~>For IMA is 19-24 years ~>For INA is 19-22 years ~>For IAF is 19-23 years ~>For OTA is 19-25 years ## For IMA,INA,IAF , only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply & for OTA, both married and unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply ## And the candidate must be physically & medically fit as per Defence regulations ## For further details please visit www.upsc.gov.in ** ALL THE BEST ** |

If you are in final year of engineering or if you are completed your engineering then only you are eligible for Indian Airforce through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam, which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in every year. Eligibility details:- Details about Indian Airforce: You should be complete BE/B.Tech from a recognised university. The age limits bra 19 years to 23 years, no relaxation. Details about Indian Naval academy: The candidate should be complete Graduation in BE/B.Tech from a recognised university. The age limits are 19 years to 22 years, no relaxation. Details about Indian Military academy: The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. The age limits are 19 years to 24 years, no relaxation. Details about Officers Training academy: The applicant should be complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limits are 19 years to 25 years, no relaxation.
